An adult woman needs either 800 or 1000 mg of Calcium a day, but that doesn't mean it has to come from milk. Cheese and yogurt is good too, and broccoli is high in calcium too, as is soymilk. So, really, an adult wouldn't have to drink milk at all as long as they get their calcium in other foods/drinks.
