Why do children have health issues, what causes that?

I'm writing about child obesity and need to describe my social group which is children. I need to state why they have health issues what causes it ... could it be there age or because there just young. Lets say for example i was doing old people instead that would be easy as i could say old people have health issues simply they are old they have reduced immunity , reduced mobility, diet because of housing conditions etc.... But I'm struggling to start my description on children what could i write about them???Why do children have health issues, what causes that?Do you mean why do they have MORE health issues than adults? This is because their immune system is not as developed. Also their size can have a lot to do with it. Smaller body size means they lose body heat faster, as well as dehydrate quicker than an adult. But the main reason children get sick more often than adults is the under developed immune system. PS old people have more health problems not because of lowered immune systems but because they are old, and their body is breaking down.. They get "Worn out".Why do children have health issues, what causes that?Because obesity in childhood frequently tracks into adulthood, increases in childhood overweight and obesity clearly are major contributors to the adult obesity epidemic. Children express the same comorbidities that are associated with being overweight and obese as adults. Thus, being overweight during childhood brings with it comorbidities that will increase the duration of comorbidities in an individual by one to two decades, a factor that can increase the impact of a number of risk factors on adult diseases.
