Case law prohibits you from denying your child medical attention if they require it. I hope this is not the case.
Good luck to you.Are you a Jehovah's Witness Child Living With Lupus Or Similar Health Condition? It is a fallacy to assume that Jehovah's Witnesses do not seek or accept medical treatment.
We indeed do accept it.
It is only blood transfusions that we reject %26amp; we opt for safer non-blood treatment instead which do not carry the risks common with blood transfusions

Are you a Jehovah's Witness Child Living With Lupus Or Similar Health Condition?Check with the hospital where you're taking her for treatment. They may have a network of support groups that will include children of Jehovah's Witnesses. Also, check with the Hospital Liaison Committee (ask your congregation secretary)... they may have first-hand knowledge of what you seek. Finally, you can check with http://www.noblood.org for the same information. I've had trouble accessing the site the last couple of days, so it may be down.I understand your desire to connect with other Witnesses who share your child's illness, but do you think you could have made a wiser decision than by coming here?
The first poster showed their ignorance, not only of your faith but your efforts to save the life of your child by any means possible short of a blood transfusion. They will only bring up doubts and offer no substantive solutions to your question. They will simply try to tear down your spirituality and offer nothing in its place.
I hope this information helps, sister. I wish your daughter, you and your family well! And "beware the voice of strangers."
