i don't need to know your name, just what else you did to get better or if you got worse after their treatmentHas anyone been treated at the Child and Adolescence mental health centre at toronto east general, doing well?Honey, treatment will not make you worse. Although there are no guarantees that it will make you "all better", it will help in the long run.
Additionally, whether or not you want to get better is another factor in determining the success of treatment. You have to do the work that is required in getting yourself to a place of health. I have worked with children, youth and adults for years and know that the effort you put into your treatment program will be the best determinant on whether or not you get better.
If you have been referred to the mental health centre, then it is highly likely that you are in need of treatment. Please know that this is a very scarey process and it is absolutely normal for you to be anxious about it. Just know that treatment will NEVER make you worse. If you do not get better from treatment, it is because you are not ready to be there and this is because you are not willing to put the work into getting better.
I wish you health and wellness. Go and try it out. You do not have to continue if you don't want to. Remember that it is YOUR choice and only you will know when it is the right time to address your issues. However, please know that your issues will not go away by themselves just because you wish it were so. Good luck sweets. %26lt;HUGS%26gt;
P.S. I am formerly from Ontario (now in BC) and the program at T.O. east general is a very good and reputable program.
