What is the relationship between health and child poverty?

helpWhat is the relationship between health and child poverty? When you are poor, it's easier for you to buy junk food for the whole family instead of healthy stuff. I noticed that a box of crap cereal was half as much as the price of "healthy" cereal. Chips are cheaper than grapes, coke is cheaper than water.

When a family in poverty is grocery shopping, they tend to buy "hamburger helper" instead of making good food. I see that a lot in every place I shop at. Children of impoverished parents don't buy and make carrot sticks or celery sticks for the children and they usually don't have "sit at the dining room table" meals, either.

Some don't even have clean water to drink. Sad, sad thing, but it's a reality.
