I was speaking to a friend, and she has received a phone call from the Tennessee state health department claiming that if she cannot produce a father for her child should lose her health benefits for her child.

I have done the search for new laws pertaining to this and I am not able to find any.

Call the State Health Department and ask them to send you the literature on the law, or get the law number and look it up on-line.
