Does anybody know how to fix a corrupted gamer profile of xbox 360(live)?

I have a corrupted gamer profile and i cant set any bio's,mottos,gamer pics,customize avatar and i dont know how to fix it. Can anybody help?Does anybody know how to fix a corrupted gamer profile of xbox 360(live)?Yeah sign out then open the dashboard thing by pressing the turn on button on your Controller then press recover gamer-tag, you have to know your password and email you used for your account, answer all of your questions then it should give you your account back.
