What Xbox games are good for a gamer just starting out?

I have just got an Xbox and need to know what some good games to get, that are easy to get into are. I'm considering getting MW2 and/or Mass Effect and possibly some other games such as Lego Harry Potter.

As far as online goes, call of duty black ops is great choice. There is a mode called combat training where you play verse AI, but its like playing online with real people. While I do enjoy most of these games listed, i wouldn't say there great for a gamer just starting out, although it just depends on how good you are. If you want a really easy game to just play through and still have some fun then I would recommend Fable III. Some people dont like this game but i've played through it three times. Fable III is an Action/Adventure RPG and i had alot of fun with it, your choice, the other answers for this question are still fantastic games.What Xbox games are good for a gamer just starting out?CoD games suck. Online Multiplayers are full of little kids and tbh by the time you get it and get used to playing it you will suck online cos everyone else will be better at it than you and you will die alot!!!



mass effect 1%26amp;2... amazing. i love them. Highly recommend



Bioshock ... short sweet game thats easy to get into

Assassins creed
First off, you NEED to get Black Ops, that game is the bomb! Dead Space, is also a fun game, if you like horror games. Other than that, get Assassin's Creed games, and Gears of War games. if you enjoy your sanity i suggest NOT getting black ops
