I have a account on gamebattles which is sponsored by mlg and i have a team but no members :P and i know how to set up tournaments but im kinda stuck here could i get feedback plz.How do i become a MLG tournament gamer?I don't know the exact answer, but I slap around (supposed) 'Major League' gaming players on Gears 2 Xbox Live all day long...How do i become a MLG tournament gamer?There is no age limit, if you are under 18 you will have to have a parent sign release forms giving you permission to compete. But you need to make sure your ready for it, from what im reading your not.
Your gamebattles team is not "Sponsored" By mlg, and you cant have a team with no members. MLG Halo Reach and Call of Duty Black Ops are played in 4v4 format, and Starcraft II is played in 1v1 format. Knowing the maps is not enough to get started, you need to find 3 teammates who are on your skillset, and practice with them consistantly, then you need to find a coach, then you can go out and compete and see how you stack up. Its alot of time, effort, money, ect so make sure your ready before going.
Also to the guy who answered, you dont slap around "Pros" Every day on gears of war, 100's of people claim to be pro, but havent actually gone to compete at any live event. And pretty much all the Gears of war pro players are playing Gears of War 3.
