Does xbox live take away your gamer score and achiveiments when you get it?

My friends brother told me that when you get XBox live you have to get all your achivements and gamer score again is this true because i have 5990 gs and 309 achivements and i don't want tp get them all over again?Does xbox live take away your gamer score and achiveiments when you get it?This all depends.



If you want your gamertag (your online name) to be the same as what you currently have it as, then no. That is, unless it's taken. Then you may have to choose a different name. You could rename your current name to something that isn't taken though.



I myself migrated my xbox (original) name, so it didn't allow me to keep the achievements/gamerscore from my offline xbox 360 name. I miss those achievements...Does xbox live take away your gamer score and achiveiments when you get it?
As long as wen u get your account u make it when your profile is signed in or u recover the profile into your profile, i kept my gamerscore !

Does xbox live take away your gamer score and achiveiments when you get it?the thing is, at the very last step it will say something about takin an avatar picture, at this point you click no just exit or suhm and youl keep all your gamerscore, i worked this out a while ago, i fought it would be alot more difficult but i promise thats all you do
