Until what age is it okay to be a gamer?

I mean I'm 14, and on Xbox live there are loads of people of at least 30 years of age. Do you find this sad? If so, when is a person "too old" to be gaming.Until what age is it okay to be a gamer? It's not sad. Keep in mind Atari and the first arcade games came out in the 70's and 80's. Anyone(which is to say a lot of people) got hooked and can still be playing today. I for example was younger than 10 when I started playing Atari. Now I'm 31 and play Xbox 360 pretty regularly. Obviously you need to make time for more important things, like going out with your friends/significant other, going to work, but it is not that big a deal to be an older person and still playing games. Hell there are elderly people who play Wii.Until what age is it okay to be a gamer?
I find al ot of people who play xbox at an older age and I'm fine with it. There's nothing wrong with playing games at an older age. They were the ones that played them originally so what is stopping them from playing when they are older?Until what age is it okay to be a gamer? You're never too old for gaming. Not only can you enjoy great storylines but problem solving will keep your mind agile, and your eye-hand coordination will stay nimble as you grow older.

I'd rather be gaming as an elderly person than have my brain rot from just watching TV.
alright, dude i was playing games ever since i had the capability to actually play them. And no you cant be to old to be gaming, because if there was an age limit then we wouldnt have any of these cool games we have now and all the games would suck and glitch alot because we wouldnt have debuggers. Im 16 and i know im going to play games 15 years from now.Until what age is it okay to be a gamer?as long as your old enough to handle the trash talking by the other people playing then you are ok to be gaming.or your really good at the game and pwn everyone and you do the trash talking%26gt;Until what age is it okay to be a gamer?
nope theres no age limit. but you should stop playin constanly and focus on other things later in life.
Video games use to be for kids but now how much games have grown it's more aimed at 15+ rather than in the past all ages. It would be sad if you were playing an Atari or Super Nitendo at the age of 20+ but now theres realy no limit. Unless your playing somthing like Gears Of War at the age of 9.Until what age is it okay to be a gamer?
There is no age cap for games -- or really anything for that matter. You could be into watching the Teletubbies or playing with dolls at 30 and have nothing wrong with you. Different people find different things entertaining.

Whatever floats your boat.
YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ever, thats why they make mature games, for people who are getting older.. xbox is fun for everyone.
age thus not matter on gaming computers games or what......but instead this computers are for fun many online games are being controlled by older people...its not sad to say that older people will play computers, computers where invented to make PEOPLE enjoy and have fun whether you were old or young!

im just a 14 years old boy and appreciate older people understand what is the purpose why i am playing/using computer......
I think you'll find that the largest market of gamers is actually between the ages of 18 and 35. That would make you somewhat younger than the norm. ;)

I read somewhere that the reason for this is that this is the generation that were the first to grow up with gaming. Also, a lot of older gamers (40+) were the first generations to play the first arcades.

Ultimately you're just perpetuating an old stereotype meant to belittle video games and gamers. Gaming is fun. Enjoy it.
your never to old to play video games.i am 48yrs old and still love to come home after work and blow off some steam with a good session of gta san andreas or vice city.i have been playing games since pong and i really don't care what anyone thinks,i will play until i am taking the big dirt nap.
