What is a hardcore gamer that the ps3 is targeting?

I've been playing games since donkey kong on the vic 20 i've owned lots of different consoles like nes, game boy(the house brick version), mega drive and so on. i currently have about 10000 gamerpoints on my xbox360 but i only regard myself as a casual gamerWhat is a hardcore gamer that the ps3 is targeting?you sound pretty hardcore to me. anyway thats just sonys way of saying its overpriced.
